Summer Semester 2023

We offer the following lectures, seminars, and lab projects.

Introduction to Distributed Sensor Data Fusion

Lecture on basic principles, requirements, and methods of sensor data processing. Since data are more often gathered by networked sensor systems, this lecture places particular emphasis on distributed sensor data fusion methods that can be applied in sensor networks.

Navigation in Aerial Robotics

Seminar (in German) on navigation techniques for aerial robots like drones using multiple sensors including IMU and GPS.

Predictive Maintenance

Seminar on data analysis, time-to-failure prediction, and anomaly detection for predictive maintenance in industrial process automation.

Advanced Estimation Methods for Autonomous Robotic Systems

Seminar on modern estimation methods for autonomous systems. This seminar deepens the topics of the lecture Estimation for Autonomous Mobile Robots.

Shape Tracking with Event Cameras

Lab project on extended-object tracking with event cameras to estimate pose and shape of an extended object using asynchronous measurements.

Navigation and Localization of Hamster Robot

Lab project on developing autonomous navigation and localization methods for the Hamster V8 robot.
